  7. This is a collection of a little over 100 quotations from musicologists
  8. and composers throughout history.  They were collected, without
  9. permission, from _The Enjoyment Of Music_, a music history textbook
  10. written by Joseph Machlis with Kristine Forney (ISBN 0-393-95950-3).

  12. The datafile is formatted for use by Quip, the Fortune Cookie Program from
  13. Hell (available somewhere in the /aminet files).  Of course, a good text
  14. editor can probably modify this to work with any other fortune cookie
  15. program.

  17. The quotations can get somewhat technical in nature, so its audience may
  18. be somewhat limited <frown>.  It is not always humourous, but it is always
  19. pertaining to music (although, sometimes, in rather loose ways).
